Lack of skills will kill your opportunity

A good respectful human is always defined by his or her skill set in his or her perspective field so we should have a good skill set in our prospective field to get good opportunities.

So if we are skilled person then we have a bigger tendency to think about the reaction which might take place after our action.

Having a good skill set will make it easier for us to maintain a balance in our personal life and your corporate life.

A skilled society will make it easier for animals to survive and will make people generally aware of environmental and social problems.

Why skills are important for students

Skills always help a person to find a new to solve the situation and because of this mostly the innovation takes place.

Skills will help the student to develop good thinking capability and help them to get easily succeed in life and makes society better.

Having a strong and good skill set make the student more confident and clear to their points rather than being around the bush than they will speak directly with more confidence.

It will develop their analytical and problem-solving skills which always help them to stand apart from the bush.

If all these skills get developed in the early days of their schooling then nothing can stop them from succeeding and achieve good heights in their life.

Why skills are important for an employee

Nowadays a skilled person is likely to get more preference than an unskilled one because of their response to any problems.

In the corporate world having good skills will make us self-aware, a quick thinker and will make us a person who will easily manage to work alone as well as in a team.

This will make us the cultural as well as the emotional thinker which will help us to establish the relations easily rather it would be nationally and internationally.

Now the team skills are the basic employee skills, so these types of skills are liked by the interview committee as per job preference.

Disclaimer: nowadays skills are very much important for our future and the development of society as it will help us to build a good nature and environment for ourselves.

Try to be skilled in different fields and major aspects as it will make us patient, cooperative person.

NASA Achievement of ITS Engineering College

ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University is one of the most advanced engineering colleges in India. With accreditations by NAAC & NBA and approved by AICTE, this institute has a bag full of achievements to boost on. And talking about achievements, what could be a bigger achievement than getting invited by NASA itself to participate in its Human Rover Challenge in 2020?

What is the challenge?

Every year NASA conducts a Human Explorer Rover challenge to engage students worldwide towards the next phase of human space exploration. The NASA Human Rover Challenge is a competition among students of selected schools and colleges worldwide to create rovers capable of traveling simulated surface of other planets. Its annual event is a more complex follow-up to NASA’s Great Moonbuggy Race.

What are the challenges for ITS Engineering College?

The NASA Human Rover Challenge is held at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. The major challenge for the students of ITS Engineering College is to design, construct, and also test the mobility devices to perform swiftly in different environments.

The students planned the course and strategy, and after various discussions, it is decided that a team of five students from ITS Engineering College will be responsible for designing and building their rover. And of them, two students, a male and a female will be chosen as the drivers of the human-powered rover that will have to cross a half-mile obstacle course of simulated extraterrestrial terrain of craters, boulders, ridges, inclines, crevasses and depressions.

This challenge will provide the students with valuable experiences in the technologies and concepts of future exploration missions.

NASA’s goal regarding this challenge

NASA’s Great Moonbuggy Race has engaged more than 10,000 students during its 20 years long run. It has brought out the talents of budding engineers and scientists greatly and has demonstrated that they are capable of carrying out complex works.

Now NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge is taking these experiences to a higher level. They are giving authentic engineering experience by letting the student teams design, build and also test technologies that enable rovers to perform swiftly in a variety of environments. It inspires the students to become the next engineers to design NASA’s next-generation space systems.

Details about the competition

The engineering challenges that the students will face are motivated by the assignments of mission objective tasks that simulate real-time obstacles faced by different space missions like the Apollo 14 surface mission. The team of students will have to make real-time decisions about the missions they attempt or leave based on their virtual eight-minute supply of oxygen.

The competition requires two students, a male and a female to drive their rover through a terrain of about 0.50 miles that will include a simulated field of asteroid debris, boulders of about 5 to 15 inches, an ancient stream bed with pebbles of about 6 inches deep, and erosion ruts and crevasses of different widths and depths. The terrain and time requirements make it more challenging as the rover’s compactness, lightweight, high performance and efficiency will be thoroughly noticed.

Even before entering the course, the rover entries will be tested to see if they would fit into the lander equipment bay. The dimensions are clear, the rovers must be a maximum of 5 feet long, 5 feet tall and 5 feet in volume. The teams earn points by designing a lightweight rover, successfully assembling the rover in the allotted time, performing tasks throughout the mission, successfully completing obstacles and also meeting the pre- and post-challenge requirements. Each team will be permitted two chances, the better score of the two will be taken as the final team score.

NASA’s ambitions with the Human Exploration Rover Challenge

NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge aligns with Artemis mission to return to the moon by 2020 and explore it. The competition emphasizes particularly designing, constructing and testing technologies in unique environments. The designs made by the students will encourage the next generation of engineers and scientists and provide them with valuable experiences as they may someday plan future space missions and explorations to other planets.

Importance of this achievement to ITS

ITS is proud to be on NASA’s website as an invitee to NASA’s Human Exploration Challenge. ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida was established in 2006, and by 2020 it has been able to be one of the 3 colleges from India which have been invited by NASA for its Human Rover Challenge in 2020.

Significance of Online education during COVID-19

Significance of Online education during COVID-19

We all, the most of world's population is staying at home for last few months and just passing the time in quarantine way. Every one is dealing with “pneumonia of unknown cause" started from Wuhan, and it changing itself again and again.  When WHO declared COVID-19 (known as 2019-nCoV) a pandemic, all schools, colleges, and universities were asked to shut down by the authorities. All the developed, developing and under developed countries are trying to fight with the same at their best. One unknown virus has brought the whole world to its knees.  Only available solution to this is prevention, but we need to keep it as our everyday practices. People have already stopped shaking hands, and students of various school and colleges have stopped attending to schools and colleges physically.

As we all know that this is a temporary but a long time situation, we need to use the time in a productive manner, and the only way available for the same is online education.

Online Education during COVID-19

With all school and colleges closures throughout the world, online learning is the only solution. So many online learning platforms recently started to provide education during the lockdown due to pandemic situations. Learning through Online platform will keep students   safe and will help them to keep up with the study.  During the pandemic situations due to coronavirus, anyone’s health is of most importance.

Being a responsible teaching organization, it automatically becomes very critical and essential to take all safety measurements to keep our students safe and healthy also to keep them updated in context of their studies.

So we are providing  all the instructions and guidance to all our students of Engineering and Management regarding online courses available on various online platforms  i.e Course era , NPTEL etc, here at ITS, engineering college, Greater Noida. This will surely enhance their subjective knowledge and also enable them to use their free time in a productive manner.

Restore that Mental Peace

As the world has turned upside down due to the ongoing Covid pandemic, many of us are desperately yearning for a respite from the uncertainty, upheaval, and anxiety brought about by it. We’re longing to calm down our stressed-soaked inner chatter and soothe our frayed nerves.

We’re craving to release our physical, emotional, and mental tension. We’re yearning for a genuine breather, a break from the gamut of responsibilities and the reality that many things have changed. Many of the things we love and have relied on for comfort, soothing, and healing are no longer an option.

In short, every one of us can benefit from a week (or month) long vacation. But since this isn’t possible for most of us, we can focus on what is engaging in small activities and practices that help us to unwind throughout the day. You’ll find these ideas below. Set a timer for 10 minutes, and brainstorm other ways you can chill out in small windows of time.

WALK BAREFOOT

Walking in the grass, sand, dirt, or soil can help you to connect to the calming and nourishing energy of the earth, since our bodies are made of similar elements of the earth—such as water, air— and walking barefoot are ways you can restore yourself mindfully.

RELISH EVERYDAY BEAUTY

Allow yourself to be curious about the beautiful things you see on a regular basis. For example, observe a flower’s petals or touch them to see how they feel. Watch the clouds pass, imagining yourself jumping from one to the next. Listen to the outdoor and indoor sounds of the morning. Feel the warmth of your little one’s hands.

TAKE TEN DEEP BREATHS

Count each breath on the inhale. Also, keep your exhales several seconds longer than your inhales.

PRACTICE CO-REGULATION

This is simply holding hands with friend or partner who is calm and relaxed to help you tune into their energy. Think of someone you feel comfortable with, who has a soothing voice and gentle, calming manner.

MASSAGE YOUR HANDS

Washing your hands, applying hand cream, and massaging the palm of each hand and fingers for about 20 seconds each can help break up any stale, congested energy while increasing your breathing. Notice when you massage your hands, your breath tends to get deeper in the lower abdomen area (and lungs) where your calming nerves are. Massaging your feet is also a great way to ease tension.

MASSAGE YOUR TEMPLES

If you can afford, apply lavender essential oil to your index and middle fingers. Then moving clockwise massage your temples. To enhance your relaxation, put on some spa-like or nature sounds, classical music, or your favourite relaxing tunes.

PRACTICE SAVASANA

During this corpse pose, close your eyes and picture any thoughts that arise as autumn leaves traveling down the river. You also might move from your feet to your head, tensing and relaxing different muscle groups as you make your way from bottom to top.

PLAY WITH PAINT

Use any paint you have on hand, and grab a canvas or thick piece of paper. Instead of focusing on creating a specific image, simply glide your paintbrush from left to right, right to left. Or get out any art supplies you have and simply start doodling or sketching, cutting or gluing.

Unwinding will look different for everyone. And the strategies that help you relax will differ depending on the day and the extent of your anxiety or stress levels. So explore and experiment. Play around with an assortment of techniques, noting what helps and what doesn’t.

Ultimately, don’t judge yourself for needing rest or comfort. Don’t criticize yourself for needing to slow down and take a break. Incorporate small, soothing activities into your everyday, so they become small, soothing rituals that help you to relax and refresh.

Future of FinTech: Innovative Business Model for Financial Inclusion

Financial knowledge is very essentially required as a skill in any manager of the 21st century. Managers should understand the financial implications of their decisions and how to use financial information to improve their company's performance. And undoubtedly, financial inclusion is a part of it.
Financial Inclusion means any method of providing banking services and financial solutions to everyone without discrimination. So we can conclude that when we try to include every individual of the society by providing them basic financial services without checking their personal income or savings, it is nothing but financial inclusion only. Only middle and high classes of the society used to avail all the credit facilities earlier and people with lower income were asked to go for informal and substandard forms of credit. Most of them were uneducated without the basic knowledge about finance so they got cheated by the rich people of the society very easily
The government of India is using UPI (Unified Payment Interface), National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT),Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) to make digital financial transactions in the current scenario.
Private companies also trying to contribute in financial inclusion through different initiatives. They are planning and implementing different projects particularly for the low-income groups of peoples like E- Sagar by ITC,HaryaliKisan Bazaar by DCM etc.
Role of FinTech in Financial inclusion
We as an individuals are also using fintech options like digital payment systems, electronic wallets. People from rural and urban areas are using above innovative and easy to learn options of banking. Also those who are not able to use theses independently are trying to learn and use them.
To keep our management students updated, here at ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida, we organized a national conference on FinTech, where we invited guests from the academic and corporate world, who shared their knowledge, views and real life experience with the students.

How Entrepreneurship Projects are Gaining pace in Education Industry

Education plays a very important role in everyone's life. Good education means that it is never a certification and getting a job in a reputed and recognized organization or institution, although it also means having a good and social person in life. Technological innovations are having a significant impact on educational systems at all levels. Online courses, teaching aids, educational software, social networking tools, and other emerging technologies are disrupting the traditional classroom environment. As the technological based solutions are used in education sector widely so it open new opportunities for students to learn and grow.

With good technological inputs we get tremendous ideas. So here at this level, education industry has introduced a concept of Entrepreneurship Development. Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) in educational institutions is formed to develop institutional mechanism to create entrepreneurial culture in academics and to foster technology based entrepreneurship for generation of wealth and employment for students.
To harness brilliant ideas of students and to promote self-hosted successful business projects, Colleges like ITS Engineering College, Amity, Galgotias etc. are spending tons of money on Research as well as Seed Funding, Entrepreneurship Development and Project based and Technology based learning. Even the Indian government has also formed separate ministries for Entrepreneurship skills enhancements like Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and New Generation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (NewGen IEDC)  to cater innovative and impactful ideas and help students to move ahead in their career and achieve their dreams. If the student has aimpactful idea that meets the threshold set forth by this bunch, then Seed funding is a no strings attached grant under MSME guidelines. Only few selected colleges in North India are under this scheme.

Highly motivated young graduates and post graduates, who want to start companies while still in their colleges, have such an increasing number of resources to tap into that exist just for them. Students that want to learn how to build companies, can apply to an increasing number of fast-track programs that allow them to gain valuable early stage operating experience.

Investing in technology for universities in India may conjure up images of laptops and tablets being delivered to masses, but the greatest ROI in higher education technology comes from software rather than hardware. So to cater this side of technical education, colleges have technology based Industry Oriented Labs, also known as Centre of Excellence, to support students for technical aspects which they will need to introduce fresh ideas. Some of the top companies who have setup such labs are Apple iOS, R Systems, Syscom, ITB &SALT, National Instrumentation etc.Entrepreneurship Development can assist students in the early stage development of your business start-up or social enterprise, invest in market research, or to develop a prototype.

So in Nutshell the objective of Entrepreneurship Development Cells in Colleges is to develop spirit of Entrepreneurship among the Students, Creating Awareness Programmes, Mentoring Students, Assisting in getting financial support for Start-ups.
